Joining our Church

Becoming a Member of Amherst Presbyterian Church

We are always happy to have those who have been either our guests at worship, members of other denominations or looking for a great place to worship, join our congregation. If you have decided you would like to join Amherst Presbyterian Church, there are several ways that we receive new members.

First, You may transfer your membership from another church which transfers members.

Second, If you have previously joined a church but have not been active in it for some time or if your church does not transfer members, you may join by re-affirmation of faith.

Third, If you have never been a member of any church before, you may join our congregation in worship by giving your affirmation of faith.
